This 2 bdrm/2 bath condo has been completely updated and decorated with very comfortable executive appointments that reflect the tropical and eclectic style of Sarasota.  Many of the furnishings/art work/objects were purchased from the antique shops that abound in this neighborhood.  The main living area is very open and flows freely, giving you that wonderful island feel, with ceramic tile throughout.  The dining area has a large dining table with six chairs.  The well equipped kitchen is fully updated with a multitude of storage, granite counters and brand new kitchen appliances.  There is a counter with 3 bar stools so the cook is never lonely.  Front loading washer & dryer are indoors in the laundry off the kitchen, complete with iron and ironing board.  The Master Suite overlooks the bayou and features a queen bed with comfortable accents which opens onto the sunroom.  Curl up with a book on the rattan chaise in the sunroom, or just soak in the waterfront view.  The private master bath features a large walk-in shower, double sink vanity and full walk-in closet.  The second bedroom also has a queen bed with tasteful nautical features.  The guest bath has a single vanity with tub/shower combo updated with frameless glass doors.  There are ceiling fans and cable TV throughout, and central A/C.  The flat screen TVs in the living room and master bedroom are equipped with built-in DVD players.  Wireless Internet is provided.    A gorgeous deep and shady private front deck overlooks the boat docks and the bayou.  There is a lower deck in front connecting to the newly rebuilt pool area.  This small group of only 15 units sits under shady oaks, pines and palm trees at the end of a very private cul-de-sac.  Covered, as well as overflow parking is provided, and you can access a walk-in storage area in your carport.  Though considered ground-floor, there are steps to access the unit.

Vacation Rental Amenities

When you step out of your front door, you are immediately in the essence of Florida.  Walk to Main Street and enjoy coffee at the bookstore/coffee shop, browse the galleries or dine outdoors before strolling back to your home away from home.  Walk to the best restaurants, shops and art galleries, as well as the Opera house and theaters (literally steps to art film theater Burns Court Cinema).  Take in a Florida sunset (and dinner!) at Bayfront park and marina.  Poke around the antique shops. Discover restaurants and cafes hidden amid the Banyan Trees and Cuban Laurels.  Run out of butter?  There's a Quick Stop conveniently located a block away, specializing in boutique wines and microbrewery craft beers.  They also have a catered deli-style counter for delicious on-the-go meals.  Or take a short walk to the Whole Foods Market & downtown Starbucks.  Better yet, hit the downtown Farmers’ Market on Saturday morning!  In the late afternoons, walk your dog to the Marina just a few blocks away to enjoy the boats (rentals available), the views or Marina Jacks’ fine restaurant and bar on the Bay.  It's all within walking distance – too much to name.
